There is no age limit for the International SHIFT Talent Hunt. The competition is open to all who wish to showcase their talents, regardless of age.
The competition features three main categories: Music (vocal and instrumental), Drama (acting, spoken word, and theater), and Unusual Creativity (dance, visual arts, comedy, acrobatics, and any unique talent that defies conventional categories).
To participate, you need to register during the open registration period. After registration, you will go through provincial auditions, then regional competitions, and if successful, compete at the International SHIFT Grand Finale.
Contestants are assessed using a combined scoring system: 60% from the expert judges panel and 40% from fan-base voting. This ensures both professional evaluation and audience engagement play a role in determining winners.
The Winner receives N10 Million cash plus an SUV, promotional deals, endorsements, and branding opportunities. The 1st Runner Up receives N2 Million, and the 2nd Runner Up receives N1 Million in cash prizes.
Beyond prizes, participants gain national exposure through live streaming, networking opportunities with industry professionals, personal growth and confidence building, and the chance to be discovered by talent scouts and entertainment industry executives.
